The clients wanted high-quality design within budget, with a primary goal of minimising the home's environmental and visual footprint — both to preserve the landscape and to negotiate complex Kingborough Council approvals. The site involved strict tree protection zones, difficult slope and property access, complex landslip and erosion controls, while budget and timelines required ongoing consideration.
