The clients needed a large family home with separated living zones and wanted to maximise views. The site presented a steep, rocky block, complex local planning regulations, and strict council height restrictions — a technically demanding combination that required an integrated design-and-build response.

Using Axis Homes' end-to-end design-and-construct model — from lot selection through to handover — the design minimised costly rock excavation to maximise floor space within the height envelope. Full home automation for climate and electrical control was integrated seamlessly from the start, and the design capture impressive views of Howrah beach, kunanyi/Mt Wellington and across the River Derwent west and south to Bruny Island.
